Miami Beach in Florida is home to the largest concentration of architecture from the 1920s and '30s in the United States. The historic¹ art deco buildings are a popular tourist attraction, but preservationists warn that they face a possible threat -- from developers who want to sacrifice some of them to make way for more modern structures.
