双语美文：珍惜当下 生活并非彩排！

　　活得潇洒一点。过一种真实的生活，而不是无尽得追求一次又一次的提升，更丰厚的薪水，更大的房子。不要孤独的生活。找到你爱的人和爱你的人。记住，爱不是闲呆着什么也不干，爱是工作。拿起电话，或发一封电子邮件，或写一封信。过一种慷慨付出的生活。

　　And realize that life is the best thing ever, and that you have no business taking it for granted. It is so easy to waste our lives, our days, our hours, our minutes. It is so easy to take for granted the color of our kid's eyes, the way the melody in symphony rises and falls and disappears and rises again... It is so easy to extist instead of to live.

　　要意识到生活是最美好的，你应该对此倍加珍惜。浪费生命实在是太容易了。把一天，一小时，一分钟浪费掉真的很容易。我们很容易把孩子的眼神视为当然而不知珍惜：很容易把交响乐中旋律起伏的变化视为当然而不知珍惜... 我们很容易将自身处于“生存”而非“生活”的状态。

　　I learned to live many years ago. Something really, really bad happened to me ,something that changed my life in ways that, if I had my option, it would never have been changed at all.And what I learned from it is what, today, seems to be the hardest lesson of all.

　　我学会生活是很多年以前的事了。当时一件非常非常糟糕的事情发生了，它改变了我原有的生活，要是当时我可以选择的话，这个巨大的改变绝不会发生。而如今看来，从中我学到的是我一生中最艰难的一课。

　　I learned to love the journey, not the destination. I learned that it is not a dress rehearsal², and that today is the only guarantee you get.

　　I learned to look at all the good in the world and try to give some of it back because I believed in it, completely and utterly³. And I tried to do that, in part , by telling others what I had learned.

　　我学会了去看世界上一切美好和善良的事物，并努力将我看到的美好中的一部分再奉献出来，因为我笃信美好和善良的信念。而我如何回馈呢?方法之一就是将我所感悟到的告诉他人。

　　By telling them this: Consider the lilies of the field. Look at the fuzz on a baby's ear. Read in the backyard with the sun on your face. Learn to be happy.

　　我会告诉人们：看看田野间的百合。仔细观察婴儿耳朵上的绒毛，在后院里读书，让太阳照耀在你的脸上。学会让自己快乐吧。

　　And think of life as a terminal illness, because if you do, you will live it with joy and passion as it ought to be lived.
