妙词佳句，活学活用

1. be downsized...
指的是公司裁员。在这里大家注意它和fire之间的区别。两个词都有被解雇的意思，但是fire指的是因为某种原因而被解雇了，downsize 则是指因为公司要减少开支等原因而裁员。

2. bring home the bacon
这个短语的意思是“……是家里挣钱养家的人”。打个比方，“老爸是家里的顶梁柱”就可以说：It is my father who brings back the bacon.

3. spray it
