  Dr. Moron1 and his team of researchers study the sleeping pattern of bats. They believed that bats have dreams just like people.

  Today he is putting his theories to test in a wet, dark cave filled with hundreds of sleeping bats. It is a dangerous job. If he wakes the bats they might attack him.

  Dr. Moron shines his flashlight into the cave. He is careful not to point it into their eyes. He hunches2 over and walks in. There is a strange noise coming from the cave- a hissing3 sound. Dr. Moron shudders4. He is scared, but he moves forward.

  The cave is surprisingly warm and smells like cat fur. Dr. Moron makes a note in his book. While he is writing, his flashlight falls to the ground and goes out. It makes a loud noise as it hits the rocks below.

  He is standing5 in the dark. The loud noise wakes the bats and they attack Dr. Moron. He runs out of the cave screaming. He doesn't stop running until he gets back to his lab. His experiment had failed.
