Thunder strike out Lakers to reach west finals

　　The Oklahoma City Thunder were one game away from a finals berth1 in the Western Conference going into game five against the LA Lakers. The Thunder were eliminated from the playoffs by Los Angeles in 2010 and Dallas in 2011, with both those teams going on to win the championship. 　　Eventally, City coasts to a 106-90 win, and take the series 4-1, advancing to the Western Conference finals against the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are the only team other than the Lakers or Mavericks7 to win the West in the past 13 years and are currently riding an 18-game winning streak8.
