Former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman has left Beijing for the DPRK with a team of retired1 basket players to mark the DPRK leader's birthday.

This will be Rodman’s fourth trip to the capital, Pyongyang. The former NBA stars will play exhibition games on Kim Jong Un’s birthday, which is believed to fall on Wednesday. Rodman said he will not interfere2 in the country’s politics.

On previous visits, Rodman has dined as Kim Jong Un’s guest and says he has a genuine friendship with him.
