　　Bob:Hi… Hi.

　　Anne:Hey, when are you going on vacation?

　　Bob:Well, I’m hoping … I think I’m going to go in March. I’ve got three weeks in March … and then I’ve got another three weeks in September, so I’m hoping to get away at least one of those times.

　　Anne: Huh. You going to take Mary with you?

　　Bob: Sure.

　　Anne: Or are you going to, uh, you know, you going to take her with you on vacation? You going away?

　　Bob:Yeah, yeah, well … I don’t think we’ll have enough money to go away in March, but we’re sure hoping to, uh, to travel in September.

　　Anne:Oh, really, where are you going to go, if you get out?

　　Bob:Well, you know, I want to go to Mexico. I’ve, I’ve never been there, and I just keep hearing all these great things about it. I, I don’t know, uh, I haven’t made up my mind if I’m going to, you know, uh; Acapulco or someplace else, uh …

　　Anne:Oh god, it’s sure to be fantastic – especially if you go in September – you can get those charters¹ …

　　Bob: Mm…

　　Anne:It’s really cheap, and it’s …

　　Bob:Yeah.

　　Anne:… beautiful down there.

　　Bob:Yeah, yeah, well maybe we would do that, but the costs keep going up, you know, and there’s still … so there’s a chance we might mot be able to go anywhere; we may just have to …

　　Anne:Yeah.

　　Bob:…pay the mortgage².

　　Anne:Well, what would you be doing if you stayed back here?

　　Bob:Mm… I suppose I’d, I’d putter around the garden and uh, fix the doghouse, you know… And I gotta replace the eaves-troughing(水槽边缘，水槽檐)…

　　Anne:Yeah. Supposing you had all the money in the world. Then where would you go?

　　Bob: Me? I’d go to the South Pacific.

　　Anne:Oh god…

　　Bob: Yeah.

　　Anne:Right … all right…

　　Bob:Where’re you going to go this year?

　　Anne:Oh, I wouldn’t be surprised if I head down to Las Vegas. If you’re going to run out of money, that’s one place to do it quick!
