“制造强国”可以用manufacturing power表示。成立国家制造强国建设领导小组包括在《中国制造2025》规划（"Made in China 2025" plan）中。该小组的具体职责还包括审议推动制造业发展的重大工程专项（reviewing and propelling major manufacturing projects），加强战略谋划，指导各地区、各部门开展工作（directing relevant works in various regions and sectors），协调跨地区、跨部门重要事项，加强对重要事项落实情况的督促检查（supervising and inspecting the
