The 5-time major champion took full responsibility when she made the annoucement at a news conference in Los Angeles, testing positive for meldonium. Meldonium, which became a banned substance in 2016, is used to treat heart disease.

 

Surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic say that a 26-year-old woman is recovering well after receiving the nation's first uterus transplant late last month. The experimental surgery is part of a new frontier in transplantation. That, if it works, might be an alternative for some women unable to have kids.

 

And a pair of panda cubs² born at the Toronto zoo were hailed as a symbol of international cooperation as they officially receive names that pay tribute to the country of their birth. The zoo annouced the male cub¹ is named Jia Panpan, meaning Canadian Hope while the female cub is named Jia Yueyue, meaning Canadian Joy.
