1. President-elect Donald Trump1 is making his first visit to Washington since his election. Trump met with president Barack Obama at White house and then went to Capitol Hill to meet with G.O.P congressional leaders. 

2. A federal grand jury has indicted2 former congressman3 Aaron Shock at 24 counts. He resigned last year over scrutiny4 of lavish5 spending. 

3. A gunman with a history of domestic abuse fatally shot a police officer and wounded a second in western Pennsylvania Thursday. The man and woman were later found dead following a report of fight at their apartment. 

4. And president Obama welcomed Lebron James in the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers to the White House. Obama said Cavaliers know how important their world championship victory was to the city.
