　　Extroverts², with their lower level of arousal, would need to do more exciting things that would physically³ and mentally exhaust an introvert⁴ in order to reach satisfaction. So while an introvert might be content with a leisurely⁵ bike ride through a quiet park, an extrovert¹ might need to hit the dirt roads in order to feel mentally satisfied.

　　外向者他们被激发的基线较低，相对地会需要从事较为刺激且会让内向者身心俱疲的活动才能达到满足。因此内向者或许只要悠闲地在安静的公园里骑骑脚踏车就很满意了，但外向者却可能需要骑着车在泥泞的土地上奔驰，才能获得精神上的满足。
