　　Not surprisingly, Mexico lacks a substantial middle class. It seems that people live either on one end of the spectrum¹ or the other. This inequality is markedly worse for citizens when there is a change in administration - every 6 years or so.

　　不难想见，墨西哥社会缺少中产阶级，人民的贫富状况两极分化，要不就是非常富有、要不就是很贫穷。这种贫富不均的状况，对于墨西哥的人民们来说，在政权改变时更显恶化，这样的改变大概每六年会有一次。
