　　This year marks the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

　　"Over the past two decades, great success has been achieved in the implementation3 of the 'one country, two systems' principle in Hong Kong," said Xi. "As the newly appointed chief executive, you have a heavy responsibility and a glorious mission."
　　习近平主席称：“20年来，'一国两制'在香港的实践取得巨大成功。作为新一任行政长官，林郑月娥责任重大、使命光荣。”
　　"The central government's determination to insist on the 'one country, two systems', 'Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong' and 'a high degree of autonomy' is firm and will not get changed or waived," Xi said, adding that Beijing will "fully4 support you and the new SAR government to govern according to law".
　　习近平主席说道：“中央坚持'一国两制'、'港人治港'、高度自治的决心坚定不移，不会变、不动摇。”他还表示，中央政府将全力支持林郑月娥和新一届特别行政区政府依法施政。
　　Xi expressed the hope that Lam could live up to the great trust, rely on the people of Hong Kong, comprehensively and precisely5 implement2 the principle of "one country, two systems" and the SAR's Basic Law, and contribute to the development of Hong Kong.
　　习近平主席表示，希望林郑月娥不负重托，依靠广大香港同胞，全面准确贯彻落实'一国两制'方针和基本法，为香港发展进步作出贡献。
