Nick: Hi everybody, this is Nick. Welcome to teaching series"how do you say this in American English."

Nick.
David: Hi guys. My name is David
Nick: Hey David. What are you doing here? No offence but you do look like a cripple. What happened to you? Need some help?
David: I can't feel my legs right now.
  Nick: Whoa why?
David: I guess I've just been sitting too long. When I sit for so long, my legs just become sore from sitting for such an extended period of time. I just feel like ugh… I can't feel anything in my legs. Just like tingling1.
Nick: Oh it must hurtful. I've been there before this morning. I was cramming2 for my exam so I was literally3 sitting all morning and didn't stand up at all. When I tried to grab some lunch, I was like"what the hell are my legs still there?" I felt miserable4 and my legs recovered 1 minute later.
David: Yeah, that's terrible. It always feels bad right after you stand up. You just can't feel you legs. But it usually goes away. It's different from when you work out though.
Nick: Oh yeah. In that situation, you can't feel legs.
David: Yeah like one time I worked out, I ran a whole marathon. And after that my legs were so sore that I could barely move. In that situation, I could've said I can't feel my legs. But it would've been better for me to say I feel like I got hit by a train.
Nick: I got hit by a train. Wow that's vivid.
David: Yeah I usually say I can't feel my legs if you that I haven't been moving it at all. I've just been lying and bent5 all day. Now my legs are upset that I'm trying to stand again
Nick: Ok, thank you. I can't feel my legs。 I can't feel my legs,人家会懂。但是他个人会喜欢说my legs got hit by a train,就像被火车撞了。 So this is pretty much it for this time. I'll see you guys next time. Bye
  David: see you guys.
