Nick: Hey Brad, you said you liked
Usher1, right?
Brad: Yeah he's been popular for a very long time. I've been to one of his concerts in Spainand got to see him really close. It was one of the best performances I've been to! I gotta go to another one!
Nick: Wow you really like him.

Brad: Yeah his music is awesome.
Nick: You know he's going to our school? You don't even have to go to other places!!
Brad: Really?! Is it really? How did you know that?
Nick: I heard it through the grapevine.
Brad: Oh so it's not official? Just a
rumor3?
Nick: Nah. Yeah it's not. Several people have been talking about it. I'm not sure if it's true but it's the talk on campus!
Brad: Man, I really hope it's true. Usher is one of my favorite singers!
Nick: Yeah, I hope your dream comes true. I'll definitely go there with you if he really comes here.
Brad: Sweet.
Nick: 那这个听过小道消息呢我们会用一个表达，叫做heart it through the grapevine.（字面意思）就是从葡糖藤传过来的消息，就是小道消息的意思。不要说I heard it from a small road or something. You translate that directly. That's not right. So this is pretty much for today's class, I'll see you guys next time. Bye
