SUMMARY: Walter Mitty is a day-dreamer who escapes his monotonous¹ life through his fantasies. When his job and his coworkers’ jobs are threatened Walter goes on an adventure in the real world greater than anything he could imagine.

TODD MAHER: Hi, how can I help you today?

WALTER: Hi, I can’t seem to leave a wink² for someone.

TODD MAHER: Okay, I’m looking at your profile… You left a lot of this stuff blank.

WALTER: Well, I haven’t really been anywhere noteworthy or mentionable.

TODD MAHER: Have you done anything noteworthy or mentionable?

 

TED³ HENDRICKS: We have ahead of us the privilege of publishing the very last issue of Life magazine. And, for the final issue we just received negative 25 from Sean O’Connell for the cover.

 

WALTER: Where’s 25?

HERNANDO: It’s not there.

WALTER: I know.

 

ODESSA (Walter’s sister): Look what I found!

 

EDNA (Walter’s mother): What’s that?

WALTER: A travel journal dad gave me.

 

CHERYL MELHOFF: Hey!

WALTER: Hey! – How was your weekend?

WOMAN IN OFFICE: I had an awesome⁵ weekend!

 

WALTER: The ice, she moves like a woman.

CHERYL: I’d like to climb your hair.

 

EDNA: What is it you call it, when he goes into one of his little places?

ODESSA: Zoned⁶ out.

EDNA: You do that now and then.

 

CHERYL: What’s the matter?

WALTER: I lost a picture.

CHERYL: I like mysteries.

 

CHERYL: You should go, crack the case!

 

EDNA: You were Sean’s partner. You finish his work.

 

WALTER: Where do we land?

HELICOPTER PILOT: We don’t!

 

WALTER: There’s a fin⁴ here!

BOAT CAPTAIN: You are safe!

That’s a shark!

WALTER: That’s what I said!

 

CHERYL: Life is about courage and going into the unknown.

 

TODD MAHER: Hey, man, where are you, now?

WALTER: Himalayas. I’m gonna keep this short. I have to make oxygen choices.
