　　Much like a computer, your brain works best at a certain temperature, and tries to avoid "overheating". And it turns out yawning increases your heart rate, blood flow and the use of muscles in your face which are all essential to cooling the brain. On top of that, deeply inhaling¹ cold air can alter the temperature of the blood in our head.

　　你的大脑与计算机很相似的地方在于，它也是要在某个特定温度下，运作的效能才会最佳，并且也同样要尽量避免过热的情况。而结果发现，打哈欠会让心跳加快、促进血液流动及脸部肌肉的使用，这些都是降低脑部温度的必要条件。除此之外，深呼吸，将冷空气吸入体内，也能改变我们脑部的血液温度。
