Jay: The entire town went nuts for that ad. People stopped me in the street, asking me to say the slogan.

整个小镇都为那个广告发狂。人们在大街上把我拦住，叫我说那句广告词。

1、Go nuts 发狂

① Everyone went nuts for the apple pie I baked. It was gone in less than a minute.

大家都为我烘烤的苹果派发狂。它在一分钟之内就全没了。

② My friends are gonna go nuts when they find out I’m dating a celebrity¹.

当我朋友们发现我在跟一个名人约会的话，一定会发疯的。

2、Go bananas 发狂

① All the girls in the crowd went bananas once Justin Bieber went on stage.

当Justin Bieber一来到在台上，所有的女孩都为他发疯了。

② I can't believe everyone chose that idiot² Jimmy to be the project leader. Has everyone gone bananas?

3、Small potatoes 不重要的事/人

① I don't care about the 5 bucks³. It's small potatoes. What bothers me is that he will avoid me because of 5 bucks.
