The things you thought weird² at the beginning may be the stuff of your everyday routine. Here are a few of the ways our Forum³ readers think their lifestyles have changed during their China stay. 　　Bad parenting

　　1.If your child intentionally⁵ disturbs you, it is because you are not physically⁶ affectionate enough.

　　2.If our child is lying, it means you overacted to the mistakes in past.

　　3.If your child does not stand up for themselves, it is because from a young age you have disciplined them regularly in public. Parents should not do so even in front of siblings⁷, friends or cousins.

　　4.If you buy everything for your children still they take things that do not belong to them, it is because you don’t let them choose.

　　5.If your child is a coward, it is because you help them too quickly. Don’t remove every obstacle from their path.

　　6.If the child behaves rudely, it is learnt from parents or others living with them.
