【例句一】

I'm home-sick.

我想家了。

【例句二】

A: What's wrong?

你怎么了？

B: Nothing, I'm just a little home-sick. I miss my mom's cooking is all.

没事，我就是有点想家。我想我妈妈做的饭了。

例句中有一个口语非正式表达：

...is all.

某件事情就是我想说的

比如我们可以说：

You're funny is all.

你就是很奇怪嘛。

Grow home-sick

越来越想家/开始想家

【例句一】

I've been growing home-sick lately. I haven't been back home in over 2 years.

我最近越来越想家了。我已经2年多没回家了。

【例句二】

If you grow home-sick, just call your family.

如果你开始想家了，就给你家里人打电话呗。

三倍和四倍的。

它既可以作为形容词，也可以作为动词，比如：

I'll give you triple amount of the money.

我会给你三倍的价钱。

【例句二】

Al tripled his initial offer to buy my bike. I think I'm gonna take it.

它也有动词和形容词的表达。

【例句一】

Why are we paying quadruple the price for an inferior product?

我们为什么要为一个烂产品付4倍的钱？

【例句二】

I got rid of a lot of furniture in my apartment and quadrupled the space.

我公寓里的很多家具都被我扔了，空间扩大了四倍。
