 大家平时休息的时候喜欢做什么呢？一定有很多人会选择看一场电影吧。今天我们就要来聊聊一些有关电影的用语。

 

01.电影
电影有很多不同的说法，它们之间有什么区别呢？
首先film听起来比较高级，如果你要评论电影你可以说：
That was a wonderful film: 刚刚那个电影好精彩！
More professional and formal: 更专业，更正式
Movie相对于film来说，比较casual，一般会用在和朋友聊天的时候：
Let's go to see a movie: 我们一起去看电影吧
除此之外，film一般指艺术电影，movie一般指商业电影：
The art of film: 电影的艺术
Commercial movie: 商业电影
在奥斯卡的颁奖典礼中，最佳影片的英文是：
The best picture：最佳影片
很久以前，电影被称为motion picture。因为奥斯卡非常注重传统，所以这个电影的称呼就被保留了下来。

02.看电影
说到看电影，很多人see和watch傻傻分不清楚，其实它们之间的区别很简单：
See: 去电影院看电影（go to the theater)
Watch: 在家里看电影（at home)
询问别人有没有看过某个电影时，用的也是see：
Have you seen Green Book: 你看过电影《绿皮书》了吗？

03.电影院
除了看电影，电影院也有两种说法：
Cinema: 英式用语
Theater/theatre: 北美用语
现在很多商场里面都有大型的电影院：
Cineplex: 影城
每个影城里面都有很多放映厅，放映厅也叫theater：
This theater has 18 theaters inside: 这个电影院里面有18个放映厅。
有时候看电影的时候我们需要带3D眼镜：
3D glasses: 3D眼镜
Dizzy: 头晕
在北美看电影不像中国一样可以提前预定座位：
Assigned seats: 预定好的位置
因为他们遵循着一种传统：
First come first served: 先到先得

04.爆米花
有一样东西，大家看电影的时候一定要吃：
Popcorn: 爆米花
爆米花一般有两种口味：
Sweet popcorn: 甜爆米花
Salty popcorn: 咸爆米花
现在很流行约朋友到自己家里看电影：
Movie night: 电影之夜
Let's do a movie night: 今晚来我家看电影吧
在家里看电影也可以做好吃的爆米花：
Microwave popcorn: 微波爆米花
