    One day，a tiger saw¹ a frog．He had² never seen³ a frog before．He said⁴，“I want to eat you．But first tell me who you are．”
    The frog said，“I am the king⁵ of the frogs！I can do all kinds of wonderful things．”

    The tiger quickly ran²⁰ away．On his way home he met a fox．“What makes you run so fast，Mr Tiger？”asked the fox．The tiger told him the reason²¹．The fox laughed at the tiger．He said that he could¹⁸ kill¹⁴ the frog easily²²．“If you think you can kill him，I will go back with you，”said the tiger，“but，when you see him，I know you will be afraid and will runaway²³．We'd better tie our tails together so that we can help each other．So the tiger and the fox tied their tails together．Then they went to meet the frog．The frog saw them He was very clever．He cried．“You，sir，area great fox．Is that the tiger you have brought²⁴ along²⁵ for my evening meal²⁶？”
