    BEIJING March 2 (Xinhuanet)  -- Lady Gaga, American top singer and songwriter, was scheduled(预期) to release her new album "Born This Way" on May 23, according to a MTV news report.
    The upcoming(即将来临的) album was described by Lady Gaga as "a marriage of electronic music with metal or rock 'n' roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats." She has referred to the album as "the greatest" of the decade about "what keeps us up at night and what makes us afraid.""Born This Way", the first single, has already spent two weeks on top of the Billboard1 Hot 100, being the 19th number-one debut2 and the 1,000th number-one single in the history of the charts. A tremendous amount of excitement has been aroused by her thrilling online premiere and a killer3 performance at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
    The video for "Born This Way" entered the universe on Monday. In typical Gaga fashion, it stands alongside her other videos such as "Telephone", "Bad Romance" and "Alejandro" from a visual, technical and artistic4 standpoint.
