Anne is bored.She decides to call Steven at WEFL.
Listen to their conversation.
Hello.Steven Winn speaking.

Oh,sure.I've just been feeling a little bored this afternoon.
Are things OK at the studio?
Oh,sure.Everything's been going very well here.
Jake's been working on a story about an exhibit at the Natural History Museum.
He also wants to have an interview with Abbott Larkin here at the studio.
Larkin's been in and out of Stamford lately.
He's building a computer factory here.
How about Connie?Is she still interviewing hight school students?
No,she's been doing a story on employment agencies.
Any news from Maria?
No,but her friend Sam Finch1 called from Aspen.
Maria moved to a different hotel,and somehow they lost contact with each other.
That sounds strange.Maybe they had a fight.
I don't think so.He's been making a business deal in california.
What have you been doing?
Nothing much really.Shopping a lot of baby things.The usual.
I'm getting bored with this waiting,Steven.

Well,everyone has been very busy.
Take a piece of paper and a pencil and write down what everyone's been doing.

But relocation to Dallas?No way!Not me!
Do you have any letters of recommendation?

Notice some of the changes that are made in order to form a noun from a verb:
Inform becomes information,apply becomes relocation.
