(单词翻译)
Besides the legal fight, the biggest question surrounding Charlie Sheen is where does he go from here? Well, PopEater.com's Rob Shuter talked with Sheen yesterday and he's here now to fill us in.Hi there, Rob.
It’s quite a conversation. It was text messages. I thought I was gonna talk to him on the phone, and we ended up just texting each other throughout the day, and actually throughout the weekend and the evening, it was a long conversation. Several things came up. I asked him first of all what he thought about his children who have been removed from him, and they are out a lot with their mother Brooke Mueller, some people are claiming Brooke is setting up photo ops with the children. And she might even be getting paid to set up these photo ops. I asked Charlie what he thought about that and he wrote back in capital letters, DUR, so I take that as a yes that Charlie assumed it as yes.
How did he respond to being fired?
He told me it was the best thing ever, he confirmed that he was fired and he wrote back in capital letters WINNING. So I think Charlie thinks this is a good thing. It's interesting there because my own research has showed Charlie has a clause in his contract, that he calls the Michael J. Fox clause. This clause actually was in Michael J. Fox’s contract when ironically Charlie took over for him in Spain City, what this means is that if an actor is let go or can no longer do the role, they still participate in financially in the show.
Oh, so he still will be getting paid even if someone takes over his role?
Well, this is where it gets a little tricky1. If he had left the role because of medical reasons or didn't want to do it anymore, he would get paid, because he was fired, he's technically2 in breach3 of contract, so they might not have to pay him, this is gonna be one ugly legal buckle4.
But don't they have to have legitimate5 reason for firing him?
I think they do, if you've seen some of the tapes that he's done recently, they will argue that that is the reason, I spoke6 to many sources of the show who told me they're gonna try to make the show work without Charlie. It ends way too much money to throw it away.
Sure, sure.
Another interesting conversation I had with him that was whether or not he wanted more children, there was a rumor7 that the guarder says might be one day having children with Charlie. He wrote back absolutely not, he said it's hard enough keeping in hold of the children I've got. So he was having some fun.
Oh my goodness.
It’s quite a weekend.
So any, absolutely, but any talk of him worried about his finance, I mean, obviously he's made a lot of money on the show, but,
He has, Charlie lives like a king, though true.
Right.
I did ask him just before I came on your set, if indeed that was true, if there was financial troubles, he didn't respond but when he does, I will let you know.
Absolutely,
But he does, he does live like a king, he earns a lot of money, he spends a lot of money.
So literally8 well, this is certainly when you continue to unfold the public spectacle, thank you so much Rob Shuter for all of that.
Good to see you.
