(单词翻译)

More than 260 Sri Lankans on board a boat moored1 in western Java say they are refusing to come ashore2 until they are granted asylum3. The Indonesian navy intercepted4 the boat on its way to Australia over the weekend after tipped off from Australia authorities.

The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says the UK will send 500 more troops to Afghanistan. But they are only being sent certain conditions are met. Mr. Brown is calling for Britain's allies to boost their presence in the country and for the Afghan government to speed up training its own forces.

The Iraqi government says at least 85,000 people were killed in the country between 2004 and 2008. It's the first time the government has put an official figure on the death toll5 following the US led invasion in 2003.

And the first photograph has emerged of US kidnapped victim Jaycee Dugard 2 months after her 18-year-old deal ended. Jaycee Dugard was 11 years old when she was kidnapped in California almost 2 decades ago. A photo of the smiling now 29-year-old has appeared on the cover of the People magazine. And she's told the publication she is happy to be back with her family.

And there will be more news later.
