American banking7 giant Citigroup is to pay back more than 20 billion dollars of government bailout funding. It received one of the largest bailouts from the US government after being hit hard by the credit crunch8. Repaying the money will allow the company to leave the government's program.

And US President Barack Obama got into the holiday spirit at the annual Christmas in Washington concert. He and wife Michelle welcomes some elves to the celebration and sing carols on stage with some musical legends.
