 　　LOS ANGELES, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to return to Hollywood some seven years after his last movie act, Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation confirmed on Tuesday.

　　The embattled movie-star-turned-politician will appear in the movie "The Last Stand" as a border-town sheriff who unexpectedly has to deal with an escaped drug kingpin.
　　"Arnold Schwarzenegger will bring incredible magnetism1 to this complex but classic role," said Joe Drake, president of Lions Gate's Motion Picture Group.
　　The movie, which is based on a speculative2 script by Andrew Knauer, will be directed by South Korean action-and-suspense master Kim Jee-woon, Lions Gate said.
