Prosecutors1 have charged Michael Jackson's doctor with involuntary manslaughter. Michael Jackson's family arrived at the LA court to see Conrad Murray charged over the singer's death. The Federal Government says the Opposition4 must immediately outline how it could fund six months’ paid leave for new parents. A clean-up is under way after a large petrol leak at the Mobil fuel refinery5 at Altona in Melbourne's west. The 3.5-million-litre tank started to leak just before midnight. Firefighters have doused6 the spill with foam7 to stop it from igniting. Engineers are also draining the remaining fuel from the tank.

 

And Kevin Rudd says he'd like to see the legal drinking age lifted to 21. He's been grilled8 by 200 high school students at a forum9 on the ABC's Q&A program. He says he's in favor of any measure that could reduce binge drinking.
