(单词翻译)

Positive economic news from around the world has driven global markets higher with Wall Street adding 3 percent. China has reported the largest rise in exports in six years. Japan's annualized growth has come in at 5 percent. And the markets have responded positively1 to falling unemployment rates in Australia and South Korea.

In Europe, solid demand for Spanish government bonds is easing fears about the region's debts. Local shares followed that global trend. The All Ords and the ASX 200 has added 1.2 percent.

Elsewhere in the region, Japan's Nikkei is up 2 percent. And the Australian dollar is buying 84.6 US cents.

In other business news, an Australian hedge fund is suing Goldman Sachs for giving it bad investment advice. The fund Basis Capital put US$78 million into two lots of debt securities that Goldmans rated double-A and triple-A. They turned out to be full of subprime mortgages and caused the fund to collapse2.

“When Goldman’s own internal emails showed they had absolutely zero confidence in the CDO market. And they knew it was going to fail. The only question was when.”

Goldman Sachs says the lawsuit3 is based on “false allegations”.

And that's ABC Business News.
