如何用英语形容“嗲”

　　例如：她好嗲呀，想让她男朋友帮她买那个包。She is a clinger, trying to persuade her boy friend to buy her that bag. 这里的clinger，字面意思是“依靠、依赖、没有主见”等，显然无法传神地解释中文世界里“嗲”的真正含义。

　　"flirtatious¹"也许是个不错的翻译。但“嗲“除贬义外有时也有褒义，而且不仅仅有”调情“的涵义。说一个女人很”嗲“，有时也有表示她很有吸引力或可爱的意思。所以，”嗲“较合适的翻译是：coquettish。

　　总的来说，嗲本身有两层含义，形容（往往是女性）的娇滴滴的声音或姿态，另外一个意思就是“好、优异”。

　　1. 形容撒娇的声音或姿态 (of voice or posture)

　　嗲声嗲气 speak in the manner of a pampered² child

　　更准确的翻译是：Coquettish (adj.)
