Cloud is stretching from the northwest into the east in a trough, bringing rain and storms over Queensland. More cloud is spreading over southern Victoria and Tasmania ahead of a front which is producing some showers.

Across to Western Australia now, there will be isolated afternoon rain over the northern Kimberley region. But it’ll be mostly sunny and fine for the remainder of the state.
