To the states, in Queensland, there’ll be heavy rain and thunderstorms over the gulf¹ country and the northwest region. There will be some scattered² showers and isolated³ storms over the remainder of the tropics. 

 

New South Wales can expect some patchy rain and thunderstorms mainly in the eastern and southern regions. It will be warm and humid throughout the rest of the state. 

 

There’ll be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the eastern and northern part of Victoria. 

 

Tasmania can expect some isolated rain about the north and western regions in the morning with the chance of some afternoon showers over most of the state. 

 

In South Australia, there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms in the southern region. There’re chances of some patchy light rain over the remainder of the state. It will be a sunny day in Perth with heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Kimberley. But it will be warm and windy in the west.

 

And in the Northern Territory, there will be some isolated afternoon showers and storms in the Alice Springs. 

 

Checking tomorrow’s forecast with the major cities, rainy in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, mostly fine in Adelaide and Hobart, sunny for Perth with a top of 35 degrees.
