 Electronics manufacturer Bosch is to cut 380 jobs at its manufacturing plant at Clayton in Melbourne. The company says it'll relocate part of its car electronics business to Asia. The Australian Workers Union says Bosch has not spoken to the union about the cuts. David Jones's former chief executive, Mark McInnes, has been recruited by billionaire Solomon Lew with a pay package of as much as $5.2 million a year. The All Ords closed 46 points higher and the ASX200 gained 43 points, or about one per cent. Elsewhere in the region, Tokyo's Nikkei is up about half a per cent. The Hang Seng is also stronger. The US rose on strong figures showed by the tax sector7.
