Legendary6 Australian boxer7 Lionel Rose has died at the age of 62. Rose was the first Indigenous8 boxer to win a world title in 1968. He was also named Australian of the Year. Rose won 42 of his 53 fights and recorded two hit songs in the 1970s. He had been ill after suffering a stroke in 2007. 
 
Egypt’s justice minister has promised to come down hard on anyone involved in sectarian violence. Twelve people died and around 200 have been injured during deadly clashes between Christians9 and Muslims in Cairo at the weekend. An emergency cabinet meeting has been called to discuss that violence. 
 
And the United States is keeping up the pressure on Pakistan to explain just how Osama Bin10 Laden11 turned out to be hiding there. President Barack Obama says Pakistan must find out if any of its officials knew of Bin Laden’s whereabouts.
