The former governor of Massachusetts, Mitt5 Romney, has announced that he’ll stand as a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination6. He’s signalled his campaign will focus on the economy. Mr Romney was an early front-runner back for the 2008 nomination, the one that eventually went to John McCain.
