A series of bomb attacks have rocked over a dozen cities across Iraq, killing7 more than 60 people. The worst attack was in the southeastern city of Kut, where twin blasts killed at least 37 people. It was the worst day of violence in Iraq this year.

And Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron has announced a review of the country's social policies in the wake of last week's riots. Welfare, schooling8 and health will all come under the spotlight9. In what he called a "moral collapse10", Mr Cameron declared war on gangs, and he pledged to help 120,000 of the country's most troubled families.
