　　The team remains5 behind fifth place Fluminense with 44 points, fourth place Botafogo with 45 points, third place Sao Paulo with 46 points, second place Corinthians with 48 points and first place Vasco da Gama with 50 points.
　　Luxemburgo and Flamengo now focus their attention to cross-town rival Fluminense. Both teams will meet on Oct. 9 in the 28th round of the tournament in a vital match for approximation to the leaders of the competition. Only 11 round remain in this year's tournament.
