Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev has slammed his country’s poor aviation safety record and he’s demanding an investigation10 into the crash. 
 
And in the run-up to the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, US authorities have just released chilling new audio. The recordings11 are from the planes that crashed into the World Trade Centre. They paint a dramatic picture of the confusion and horror as American officials and pilots struggle to understand just what was going on.
