US president Barack Obama is set to unveil a job-creation plan in a nationally televised speech to a joint1 session of the House and Senate.

Bloomberg News reported that the plan would inject more than 300 billion US dollars into the economy next year, through tax cuts, infrastructure2 spending and direct aid to state and local governments.
