In Tasmania, there’ll be scattered2 afternoon rain around the western and southern areas. Mostly fine elsewhere, apart from a chance of showers around the northeast region. 
 
Fine in South Australia, except for some isolated3 rain in the far northwest. There’ll be some morning showers over the lower southeast region and Kangroo Island.\
 
Over in Western Australia, Perth can expect some showers and thunderstorms. It will be rainy and stormy over the remainder of the state. 
 
And there’ll be scattered showers and storms over the Top End. It will be dry and hot over the interior. 
 
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast: showers for Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Darwin. Cloudy in Melbourne and Hobart. Sunny in Adelaide with a top of 31 degrees.
