 BEIJING, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Police have busted1 more than 130,000 cases of economic crime and dealt with 60,000-plus suspects since a crackdown on economic crime began three months ago.

A total of 180,000 cases involving some 23 billion yuan (3.6 billion U.S. dollars) have been filed for investigation2 during the campaign, said Liu Jinguo, vice3 minister of public security, at a Tuesday meeting.
Police across the country have been working together to crack down on commercial bribery4, contract fraud, pyramid schemes and counterfeiting5, Liu said.
"Public security departments at all levels should encourage coordination6 between police forces while keeping close contact with administrative7 departments in order to boost efficiency regarding case transfers and investigations," Liu said.
