BANGKOK, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Madame Tussauds on Tuesday unveiled its brand new figure of Asian pop star Jay Chou, which is also the 91st attractions of the wax museum.

Paul Williams, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Bangkok, said the museum orders its London-based factory to mould 4 new figures every year based on the customer surveys it conducts within the region and also makes exchanges and loans with its fellow wax attractions in other countries.
"Jay Chou is a very popular superstar and has a lot of fans in southeast Asia," he said.
The Taiwan-born star started his career writing music but has since moved onto singing,
acting3 and directing. His exceptional musical talent, characterized by
originality4 and creativity in combining Chinese and western elements, earned him hundreds of awards around the world.
He also topped this year's Forbes China
Celebrity5 100 list.
