 住房问题英语对话

城市住房问题，尽管表现方式可能不一，但在不同的社会、不同的时期都会发生，并且直接关系到城市居民的生活，关系到城市未来的发展。对于住房问题的解决，必须清醒地认识到当时当地的住房问题产生的原因及其实质，仅仅关注于住房的数量和房价的高低，未必就能找到解决住房问题的良策，反而有可能加剧住房问题的程度，并带来其他的社会性问题。

凯西:
Which social problem do you think the government needs to concentrate1 on most?   
你觉得什么社会问题是政府应该优先集中精力来解决的?
杰克:
I think housing2 is a big problem. There are thousands of homeless people on the streets.   
我觉得住房是一个巨大的问题。大街上有成千上万的无家可归的人。

How would you solve the problem?

杰克:
I have a good idea to solve it. The government could provide some money for homeless people to build their own homes.It would probably be very expensive.

I don't think the government can afford it.
