Singer Stefanie Sun has given birth to her first child, a boy, on Tuesday night.

According to a statement from a spokeman for her, she went to a local hospital in the afternoon and gave birth later that night. Both mother and son are well.

The statement adds that the 34-year-old will return to work on her music in four months.

In May 2011, she married her Indonesian boyfriend, Mr Nadim van der Ros, 35. The couple held a banquet¹ for friends and family at the Capella hotel on Sentosa.
