 TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps1 Major General Mohammad-Ali Jafari said Wednesday Iran has provided the Palestinian resistance with the technology of mass production of Fajr-5 missiles, semi-official Fars news agency reported.

"We cannot send arms to Gaza because of its siege, but we have provided them (the Palestinians) with our experiences in manufacturing Fajr-5 missiles and today this missile is being manufactured (by Palestinians) in large numbers," Jafari was quoted as saying.
The Islamic republic extends technological2 aid and assistance to every Muslim standing3 against the arrogant4 powers, Jafari said, alluding5 to Israel and its western supporters, according to the report.
On Wednesday, Iranian Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said Tehran has provided military aid to the Palestinian resistance groups, said Fars.
"We declare proudly that we have supported the Palestinian nation and Hamas and we have the honor to declare that we will stand beside the Palestinian people in the hardest and most difficult conditions," Larijani said on the sidelines of a rally staged by the Iranian parliamentarians in support of the Palestinians in Gaza.
"We are proud that our aid to the Palestinian people included financial and military aspects," the Iranian speaker stressed.
The Hamas military wing has claimed responsibility for the Fajr- 5 long-range missiles' attacks on Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the ongoing6 conflict with Israel.
