Aston Martin is receiving a 230-million-dollar cash injection from the Italian private equity1 firm Equity Industrial. The investment will give the equity firm a 37.5 percent stake  in the business. The luxury carmaker will put them mainly towards the more than 750 million dollars it plans to spend on new models and technologies over the next five years. Aston Martin has been looking for fresh investment to allow it to compete with rivals such as Porsche and Ferrari.
