外媒：两会将推动中国关键领域改革

　　本周，第十二届全国人民代表大会第一次会议将在北京开幕。

　　1. The amendment¹ to the land management law - We have previously² reported that China will prioritize land reforms as officials reiterate³ that urbanization is crucial to driving economic growth. This bill if passed will boost farmers' share of revenue from land sales.

　　1. 土地管理法修正案－我们此前曾报道，中国官员屡次重申城镇化对推动经济发展至关重要，因此土地改革将成为本届两会的重点。如果法案得以通过，农民将获得更多的征地补偿。

　　2. 'The Big Department System reform' - A bill to merge⁴ the Ministry⁵ of Railways with the Ministry of Transport.

　　Policymakers are expected to stick to goals they have already iterated. The Government Work Report, which is typically delivered by the premier⁶ and is considered the Chinese equivalent of the State of the Union speech, is expected to be along the lines of the "make progress while maintaining stability" theme of the Central Economic Work Conference in December
