1. Police say two people are dead following a helicopter crash during rush hour in central London. The helicopter apparently¹ hit a construction crane on top of a building. It crashed just south of the Thames near an underground train station and the British spy agency MI6.

 

2. A new poll suggests that nearly 60% of Americans want stricter gun laws and 84% who answered the AP-GFK poll want background checks for gun purchases at gun shows.

4. Facebook head Mark Zuckergberg unveiled a new search feature on Tuesday called "graph search". The new search lets users search their social connections for information about interests, photos and places.
