(单词翻译)
Astronomers1 have searched far and wide for a planet that are the right size and in the right place to support life. Well, maybe they should have set their sight a little close to the home. Because a new study suggests there may be earth-like planet just 13 light years away. The result will be published in the Astrophysical Journal. To look forward about the same size of our own, scientists focused their attention on the planets seeking K* telescope on red dwarves2. These stars are about a third size of our sun, which is a p to detecting planets. Because in earth-size, body will block more of smaller stars light, making it easier to spot. Looking at the red dwaves that have already been scoped by K*, the scientists discovered that 17% of them have planets smaller than n*, and 6% have planets that are warm and cozy3 as our beloved earth. Now, three out every four stars in out galaxy4 is red dewarf. So if some four million stars in our neighborhood alone shine on an earth-like palnets, our extrasolar backyard may turn out to be a pretty lively place.
